Introduction
With Vidsy, you’ll get paid for every brief you work on – guaranteed. We always pay within 30 days of the deadline via bank transfer.
How much will I be paid?
All payment info is outlined clearly before you apply.
The payment is a flat rate for the brief. This is the total amount you will receive personally.
We pay in GBP(£), but the payment will also display in your preferred currency and may fluctuate depending on conversion rates.
When will I be paid?
We aim to pay all briefs within 30 days of the deadline.
You’ll receive a “You’ve been paid!” email when your payment is on the way.
You can track all your expected and previous payments on your payments tab.
How will I be paid?
We make all payments via Wise, an award-winning, internationally recognised money transfer service based in the UK.
When a payment is due, you’ll receive an email from Wise asking you to claim the payment.
You’ll register or log into Wise and enter your preferred bank account details.
Wise will immediately release the payment into the account you specify.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to create a full Wise account, you only need to follow the instructions by clicking through from the email.
What currency do you pay in?
Vidsy pays in GBP(£), but thanks to Wise, you can receive the payment in your local currency and withdraw directly into your bank account. Head over to your payment settings to select your local currency.
You do not need to provide Vidsy with your bank details. You’ll be able to specify these with Wise when you receive your first payment.
Do payments include tax?
Payments do not include tax. You will need to follow your own country’s guidelines for declaring income and paying tax as part of your own tax return.

We’ll be in touch to request a W-9 form, so we can send you a 1099 for your tax return.
🇬🇧 I’m VAT registered as a LTD Company
Please get in touch with us (community@vidsy.co) to let us know. We will request invoices from you (inclusive of VAT) for each brief and pay via bank transfer.
Can I send Vidsy an invoice?
As our payments are automated, we don’t require you to send us an invoice.
We recommend mocking up invoices for your own records, however, as this can be helpful when completing your tax return.
How does the bonus work?
The bonus is a potential payment that you could receive on top of the original payment outlined on application.
Vidsy awards bonuses to the strongest videos. These videos are indicated in your previous briefs by the tag, ‘Vidsy recommended’, which means we specifically highlighted the video in our presentation to the client.
Bonuses can vary from brief-to-brief, depending on the number of creators involved and the number of videos being created, but they can range from an additional 5-30%.
