Reducing your project on After Effects cuts down the size of your AE file and also makes your project file tidier and easier to work with for Vidsy’s internal creative team.

How To Reduce your Project

Here’s how to find the Reduct Project function on Adobe After Effects:

File > Dependencies > Reduce Project

📌 Reminder

You only need to submit your After Effect files. You do not need to package and send back to us unedited assets that already exist within the asset pack provided.

If you have edited assets, they become working files and should be sent within the submission folder in the Working Files folder.

Examples of working files could be:

✅ Changes to a Photoshop or Illustrator file we have sent you in the asset pack.

✅ Assets/files from the asset pack we have provided, such as .pngs you've taken into Photoshop, Illustrator, or Blender to edit.
