Submit on platform ‱

In this article, you will find out how to use the Vidsy platform to submit your content for a CGC brief.

Submit! - Easy as 1, 2, 3

1. Hit the ‘Submit files’ button at the top of the active brief you’re working on to upload your individual videos to the platform. You can only upload content from your desktop, not your mobile.

2. Prepare your supporting files folder, which contains your clean edits and raw footage. We’ll explain these two parts of your submission further below.

3. Sign your online legal release forms. These performer and location release forms make sure we have confirmation that you have the right permissions for all the content you submit.

Asset Pack

The ‘asset pack’ includes any brand files e.g. a logo, specific brand fonts, or any approved music or sounds. Some briefs have a lot of files in this pack, some briefs

To download the ‘asset pack’, click the “Download asset pack’ button in the active brief you are working on. Downloading this pack and using it to package your submission provides you with a tidy file structure to organise your clean edits and raw footage. You can see more about this here.

Clean edits

A Clean Edit is an exact duplicate version of your final video, with NO:

  • Background music

  • Onscreen text

  • Graphic overlays/visuals.

Footage

Footage used is the raw video clips that you used to create your content. This also includes additional clips or b-roll that are useful for editing or amending your content.

Late Submissions

If you miss the deadline for a brief, you will no longer have access to the brief or Dropbox upload link. Please send both your final videos and your files to Vidsy directly via email: community@vidsy.co.

You're welcome to send your files as an attachment, or via Google Drive/WeTransfer etc.

It's not always possible for us to accept late submissions. Please get in touch as quickly as possible (via email: community@vidsy.co so we can discuss options.

Legal Forms

When you work on a CGC brief with Vidsy, you’ll need to sign two types of legal forms, which grant Vidsy the right to feature your performer and location in the content.

You’ll be able to generate and sign these legal forms electronically when you’re working on a brief.

Watch our short video for an overview on how to sign and send your legal forms to Vidsy.
