I've missed the deadline. What do I do? ⏰

Late submission

Late submission •

Introduction

Things move pretty quickly at Vidsy. We’re human just like you and we appreciate that mistakes, accidents and emergencies can happen.

The most important thing is that you let us know as soon as you have any issues. That way we can then work with you to find a solution.

How do I let you know I’m no longer able to meet the deadline?

Once you’re invited to a specific brief, you can review the deadline on the Intro page, within the header section, before confirming your acceptance.

The deadline is displayed in your local time. Please ensure you’ve uploaded your content to Vidsy before the deadline passes.

If you realise you can't meet the deadline before you've confirmed your participation, click 'Decline' so that we can pass the opportunity on to another creator.

If you've already confirmed, get in touch via the chat bubble (bottom right corner) to start a conversation with one of our team.

Where do I upload my videos and files if I've missed the deadline?

If you miss the deadline for a brief, you will no longer have access to the brief or Dropbox upload link. Please send both your final videos and your files to Vidsy directly via email: community@vidsy.co

You're welcome to send your files as an attachment, or via Google Drive/WeTransfer etc.

It's not always possible for us to accept late submissions. Please get in touch as quickly as possible so we can discuss options.

Will a late submission effect my chances for future selection?

We appreciate that mistakes, accidents and emergencies can happen. However, repeat late/non-submissions will start to impact your chances of selection with us.

Vidsy is incredibly competitive so give yourself the best chance for success by hitting deadlines on time.

If you've worked with us before, we'll take those previous briefs into account when making selection for new briefs. We're primarily interested in your creativity, technical execution, file organisation, ability to follow a brief, and the likelihood of you meeting the deadline.
