#1 Export your final videos

When you export your final videos, please ensure your content ticks the following boxes:

âś… File type: .mov or .mp4
âś… Codec: H.264
âś… File size: <200mb

#2 Prepare your supporting content

When you submit your final content to Vidsy, we’ll ask you to upload a zipped file to Dropbox. This zipped file will include your clean edits, the raw footage you’ve used in edits and any separate voiceovers you’ve recorded.

Organising your content for upload is essential when working on Vidsy briefs, as it helps our internal team work with the content post-submission.

  1. Download the asset pack from the Vidsy brief. This will provide you with our folder structure.

  2. Add your clean edits to the “1. Clean Edits” folder and your footage used in edits to the “2. Footage Used in Edits” folder.

  3. Compress the master folder by zipping it up.

#3 Sign your release forms

When you work on a CGC brief with Vidsy, you’ll need to sign two types of legal forms, which grant Vidsy the right to feature your performer and location in the content.

You’ll be able to generate and sign these legal forms electronically when you’re working on a brief. Learn more here.

#4 Send us your content

On desktop, head to the “Submit Files” page. This will give you access to everything you need to send Vidsy your content.

  1. Upload your final videos directly to the platform. Learn more here.

  2. Upload your compressed supporting files folder to Dropbox.

  3. Ensure you’ve signed all legal forms.

  4. Agree to our terms and conditions and hit “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
