Hey Edson! What do you get up to professionally?

Before I became a motion designer, I was (and still am!) a photographer and filmmaker. I love photography and the whole shooting process. Every year I set a professional goal for author productions where I produce short films to study new languages and techniques.

What are your ambitions career-wise?

Since becoming a freelancer, I’ve been experiencing a world of possibilities where I can take personal projects off the paper and transform them into profitable projects. My aim is to continue taking all the experience I gain from all of my work, and put it into my writing and producing so they can continue to be a constant project in my life.

What attracted you to this career path?

My father was an amateur photographer and painter. In my house there were always art things around the corners and, since I was little, my father always explained the whole process. I can say that it all started when he gave me my first camera at the age of 10.

Working with Vidsy is an amazing adventure because I have the possibility to meet and help various brands around the world with my work. The challenges of each job only make me better and help me professionally understand new paths and see how rewarding it is to study and see all the diversity in the career I have chosen.
