Alfie Bogush is a freelance Motion Designer who specialises in 2D character animation. His Instagram feed is filled with distinctive characters that ooze personality and charm. Paired with equally delicious colour palettes, he’s one of the top illustrators to follow if you’re looking for character and process inspiration — his feed showcases a range of characters, from initial sketches to final designs.


2. @lucyraenaylor

Lucy-Rae Naylor is a 2D Motion Designer & Illustrator who lives in Leeds, UK, whose work is creative, colourful, and diverse. She continually experiments with different mediums, illustration styles, and typefaces, from creative collaging to designing hand-printed postcards. She also aims to validate the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community through celebrating queer diversity.

Harry Knight is a Producer & Filmmaker originally from Christchurch, New Zealand but has been based in the U.K. for the last seven years. He uses inspirational filmmaking to tell hopeful stories about what the future could be like and how we could get there. His most recent venture involves launching a Kickstarter for Fake Blood's short documentary. His well-crafted Insta feed tributes sneak peeks, beautiful stills, and plenty of BTS footage across various projects.

Dylan Blau is an award-winning Swiss Art Direction and Motion Designer based in New York. With a background in stop-motion animation, Dylan translated his skills to the digital world of 3D, which opened the doors to even more artistic expression. His insta feed showcases beautifully crafted designs filled with realistic textures and stylised models that give the artwork a unique charm. Gustavo Horn is a Motion Designer & Film Director from Brazil. His magical Instagram feed features playful and expressive characters that build a sense of 3D animated surrealism that is visually compelling and unlike anything else in the field. Gustavo's creative imagination has no end, so expect to see giant pink octopuses climbing over tower blocks taking over your feed. Though his Insta feed is killer, it's not Gustavo's only source of internet fame; he also has an established YouTube channel with over 500k subscribers. He also accredits his unique motion design skills, and light-hearted animation content provides plenty of laughs.


6. @cgioconda

A Venezuela-based illustrator, Motion Graphics Designer and Fine Artist, Gioconda Cañas Insta feed presents a beautiful portfolio of prints tied together with an overarching theme of nature, landscape, and folktales. Intricately detailed and masterfully executed, her posts will bring a profound sense of calm to your feed with her pastel colour tone palette, watercolour details and ink drawing techniques.


7. @thecamofsam

Sam Warren is a British outdoor travel creator, photographer and videographer whose photos of himself paddling along the Isle of Wight got awarded @goprouk Creator of the Month. He also finds time in his busy schedule to work on a couple of Vidsy motion design briefs! A trademark of his images is the ‘human touch,’ which helps people experience the emotion and grandeur of the places shot. He’s also a pretty nifty editor, enhancing his images with striking colours, beautiful tones and unique effects. Warning following him may come with some severe Travel FOMO!

Shenja Tatschke is a Berlin-based illustrator & animator with a penchant for creating eccentric characters, hand-drawn frame-by-frame animations and bold & colourful illustrations. On her Instagram feed, you’ll see her embrace the natural awkwardness of human interactions, feelings and desires through playful, colourful illustrations that are guaranteed to make you smile.


9. @sebsummerscreative

Seb Summers is a Designer from Cornwall, UK, who specialises in Graphics, Video and Illustration. His Instagram feed is colourful and energetic, filled with distinctive illustrations that express a subtle sense of humour and reveal a quirky outlook on the mundane.
